Nut Goodie Bars

12 oz. chocolate chips
12 oz. butterscotch chips
1 (18 oz.) jar creamy peanut butter
1 (16 oz.) jar dry roasted peanuts
1 cup butter
¼ cup regular vanilla pudding mix (dry from box)
½ cup milk
2 lbs. powdered sugar
1 tsp. maple flavor

Melt together the chips with peanut butter. Put half of the mixture in a jelly roll pan. Refrigerate.
To the other half, add peanuts and set aside. Combine butter, dry pudding mix and milk; boil 1 minute. Remove from heat and add powdered sugar and maple flavoring. Beat and spread on first layer; cool in refrigerator. Spread remainder of chocolate peanut mixture on top. Keep in refrigerator. Can be frozen.
