Sopa de Tortilla

½ green pepper, minced
3 ribs celery, minced
1 medium onion, minced
1 Jalapeno pepper, minced
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 Tbsp. oil
1 14½ oz. can tomatoes
5 oz. Ro-tel tomatoes & green chilies
2 cups chicken, cooked and cubed
1½ cups beef broth
3½ cups chicken broth
1 10¾ oz. can tomato soup
2 cups water
1 tsp. ground cumin
1 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. salt or to taste
½ tsp. lemon pepper seasoning
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 cup grated Cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese
Crispy tortilla strips or chips if desired

Sauté the first 5 ingredients in oil in a large kettle until soft but not brown.
Add remaining ingredients except cheese and simmer for 50 minutes.
Pour into mugs and sprinkle with cheese and tortilla strips if desired.
