Spaghetti Beef Casserole

¾ pounds uncooked spaghetti
1½ pounds ground beef
½ cup chopped onion
1/3 cup chopped green pepper
½ tsp. minced garlic
1 can (10¾ oz.) cream of mushroom soup
1 can (10 ¾ oz.) tomato soup
2/3 cups water
1 can (4 oz.) mushrooms stems & pieces, drained
1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided

Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a large skillet, cook the beef, onion and green pepper over medium heat until meat is no longer pink.
Add garlic; cook 1 minute longer. Drain. Stir in the soups, water and mushrooms.
Drain spaghetti. Add spaghetti and 1 cup cheese to beef mixture. Transfer to a 9 x 13 baking dish. Sprinkle with the remaining cheese.
Bake at 350, uncovered, for 20-25 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
