Chocolate Comfort Cookies

1 cup chopped nuts
2 cups extra-large semi-sweet choc chips
½ cup dried cranberries
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese softened
1 egg
2 Tbsp. milk
2 oz. unsweetened chocolate, melted
1½ tsp. vanilla
2 cups + 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
½ tsp. baking powder
½ tsp. salt
¼ cup cocoa
1 cup marshmallow cream

Preheat oven to 325. Butter cookie sheets. In large bowl, combine chocolate chips, cranberries, and nuts; set aside. In another large bowl, beat butter, sugar, cream cheese, and egg until very creamy.
Beat in milk, melted chocolate, and vanilla. Sift together flour, baking powder, salt, and cocoa, and then add the butter mixture. Blend in marshmallow cream, stirring until thoroughly combined.
Add the chips, cranberries and nuts. Stir until well mixed. Batter will be thick. Using a small ice cream scoop or spoon, measure out batter and place 2” apart on cookie sheets. Bake 13 – 17 minutes until puffed and cooked through. Cool on cookie sheet 1 minute. Transfer to wire racks.
