Candied Chicken

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Salt and pepper
2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1 cup maple flavored syrup
½ cup white wine vinegar
½ cup catsup
¼ cup packed light brown sugar

Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper. Add oil to frying pan and brown chicken breasts for about 5 minutes on each side and then put them in a baking dish. While they are browning, combine remaining ingredients and mix well. Pour over chicken. Cover with foil and bake at 325 for 45 minutes.
Turn chicken. Bake uncovered for 15 minutes, basting frequently to glaze chicken.
