Oatmeal Beer Bread

1 cup rolled oats
2 cups flour
½ Tbsp. salt
½ cup sugar
3 Tbsp. baking powder
½ cup water
12 oz. beer, room temperature
½ cup melted butter for top
Combine all ingredients except melted butter.
Place in greased 5 X 9 inch loaf pan.
Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
Brush top of loaf generously with half of melted butter.
Return to oven and bake an additional 30-40 minutes, or until tester comes out clean.
Brush top with remaining butter and serve warm.
