06/17/2013 Sweet-n-Savory Kabobs

Marinade:

1/2 cup red wine vinegar
1/2 cup olive oil
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp of your favorite hot sauce
1/2 cup red wine, of your choice
2 tsp salt
 
Mix all ingredients together in a Ziplock bag.
Add your meat of choice (beef, chicken or pork, cut into small pieces)
Marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator. While the meat is marinating, soak wooden skewers in water.
Cut vegetables of your choice into chunks (onions, peppers, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes and zucchini work well).
 
Add 3 pieces of meat with 3-4 pieces of vegetables on each skewer.
Place on grate of grill or campfire until meat reaches desired doneness (if using chicken, make sure juices run clear.)
