1 lb stew meat or chuck roast
Beef Base

Put the beef in the crock pot, cover with 6-7 cups of water, and make sure that meat is completely covered. Add beef base according to directions on the container (normally 1 tsp. per cup). Cook on high for 4-5 hours or on low for 8-10 hours.

Add the following ingredients to the crock pot after the meat has cooked:

3-4 medium sized potatoes, peeled and cubed
3-4 carrots, peeled and sliced
2 stalks celery, sliced or diced
1 onion, diced

Cook for another 1 and 1/2 hours on high until the vegetables are tender. Warm 1 can of peas in the microwave and add to the stew. Add salt and pepper to taste, mix well. Enjoy!
