Festive Fruit Shortcake

2½ cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
½ tsp. salt
1½ cups butter
1 pound powdered sugar
6 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 cups sliced peaches
2 cups sliced strawberries
2 cups fresh or canned pineapple chunks
1 bunch seedless grapes, halved
1 cup blueberries
2 bananas, sliced
Whipped cream or Cool Whip

Combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside. Cream together butter and powdered sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla. Add dry ingredients.
Pour into a greased tube or bundt pan. Bake at 350 for 50-55 minutes. Let cool 10 – 15 minutes before removing from pan.
Toss all fruit together and store in refrigerator. To serve, slice cake & top with whipped cream and fruit.
