Taco Bake

1 pound ground beef
1 packet taco seasoning
Water as called for on the seasoning packet
3 large flour tortillas (8 inch)
½ cup salsa con queso
2 cups shredded Mexican cheese blend
2 hard shell taco shells, crushed
Taco toppings (tomatoes, lettuce, olives, sour cream, etc.)


Brown and crumble ground beef. Drain excess grease.

Add taco seasoning and water as called for on the packet.


Once the taco meat is ready, turn off heat and add in ½ cup salsa con queso.

Stir until thoroughly combined.


Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Spray a baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.


Put a flour tortilla on the pan.

Add about 1/3 of the beef mixture on the tortilla.

Ad 1/3 of the shredded cheese.


Continue to layer until you are done with all the layers.


Crush up the hard shell tacos and sprinkle on the top layer of cheese.


Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melted and the edges are slightly golden brown.


Slice and serve with taco toppings.
