Apple Strudel Cheese Pie

16 oz. cream cheese, softened
½ cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
4-5 tart apples, peeled and sliced
1 tsp. cinnamon
¼ cup sugar
1 unbaked pie shell

Topping:
5 Tbsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. flour
2 Tbsp. butter
½ tsp. cinnamon
Blend these ingredients until coarse.

Combine 1 tsp. cinnamon and ¼ cup sugar and toss apples in it.
Blend cream cheese, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth. Pour into an unbaked pie shell.
Top with apple slices in a spiral fashion, then sprinkle with topping. Bake at 450 for 10 minutes.
Then reduce oven temperature to 350 and continue baking an additional 30 minutes or until set.
Cool. Chill for at least 1 hour before serving.
