German Chocolate Cheesecake

1 German Chocolate cake mix                       
1/3 cup margarine, softened                         
3 eggs                                                
2 packages (8 oz. each) cream cheese, softened
¾ cup sugar
2 tsp. vanilla

Topping:
2 cups sour cream
¼ cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix cake mix, margarine, and 1 egg on slow speed of electric mixer until crumbly.
Press mixture gently into ungreased 9 X 13 inch pan.
Beat until fluffy the cream cheese, sugar, the remaining eggs, and vanilla.
Spread over chocolate mixture. Bake in 350 degree oven 20 to 25 minutes.
Meanwhile, mix together the sour cream, sugar and vanilla.
Remove cake from oven. Spread the sour cream topping onto the hot cake.
Cool, then refrigerate 8 hours or longer.
