Caramel Corn Snack Mix

2 cups firmly packed light brown sugar          
1 cup butter                                                
1 tsp. salt                                                      
½ cup light corn syrup                                  
1 tsp. baking soda
6 quarts popped popcorn
2 cups salted cashews or peanuts
2 cups candy corn
½ cups raisins
1 bag colored M & Ms (seasonal ones)

Combine brown sugar, butter, salt and corn syrup in a heavy saucepan. Bring to a boil and cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat and stir in baking soda. Pour over popcorn; stir until coated.
Spread on large cookie sheets or in roasting pan.
Bake at 200 degrees for 60 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool.
When caramel corn is cool, combine the rest of the ingredients. Store in an airtight container.
