1 loaf day old French or other crusty bread (14-16 oz.)
6 eggs
2 cups milk
¾ cup half and half
½ cup sugar
1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. cinnamon

For topping:
½ cup packed brown sugar
¼ cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
3 Tbsp. cold butter
Optional: can add apples or blueberries
