1 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 egg yolk
2 cups flour
1 tsp. vanilla
6 oz. milk chocolate, broken into small pieces
1 cup chopped pecans
Cream butter and sugar until light. Mix in egg yolk. Add flour, stirring just until blended. Add vanilla.
Press in a 10 X 15 pan. Bake for 20-25 minutes at 350. While still hot, distribute chocolate on top and spread gently. Sprinkle with pecans. Cut while still warm.
